Hi everyone, hope you are keeping well. It finally feels like Spring might be on the way. We can but hope!

I wanted to put together a blog post to let you know in a little more detail about my Welcome Pack that I've put together recently.

I decided to put together this Welcome Pack to give my prospective clients who are looking for more detailed information about me and my services that you might not find on my website or social media channels. I also go into more detail on what you can expect when we are working together, and a sneak peak at some of the documents and visuals that I use to help create those interiors with you on our journey together.

My Welcome Pack Explained

My Welcome Pack is a thorough document that walks you through a typical design process with me. Here I can give you more information and share some visuals that help me illustrate the help I'm giving you, so it helps me explain things a little easier.

The first section of the welcome pack covers an introduction about me, why I love interior design, and why I am the right person to help you. It also touches upon my style and what some of my clients have said about me.

I then go in to more detail about my standard packages and pricing. I list all of the things that I will prepare for you to help illustrate and combine our ideas so that you have a vision of what we are working towards so you can make sure you are happy. Next up we look at the process we will follow so that you know what to expect and you can see easily how things will progress towards our end goal and a finished interior. Throughout the process I'm a the end of an email or phone, and I love hearing and seeing images of the process from my clients when milestones are accomplished like when a furniture order arrives or when decorating has been completed!

Then we have the fun bit where I start to share visuals of the sorts of images I've shared with my clients on past projects. I talk about the Concept Boards I use, and why they are a key starting point because I want to understand how you want the room to feel. I also share an Inspiration Board so you can see how all of the items I'm suggesting to my client sit together and you start to get an idea as to how the room will look.

To follow on from the boards, we then start to make lists! I'm a huge lover of lists and firmly believe that they are key when getting ready to shop, so nothing gets forgotten and its clear what is being bought. Here we introduce the Curated Shopping List, neatly segmented in to key areas of the interior to make life easy. Sometimes a spreadsheet is needed too, if the list is long, so I can add in links to help with the ease of buying and confirm who is buying which item if trade discounts are included at all.

Lastly in the process, if you haven't opted for a home styling service, where I come and finish everything off for you, then that's where the Detailed Implementation Plan comes into play. It's a document where I can share images and notes with you to direct how you can pull the room together with the look that we have agreed on. I sometimes use voice notes here too to help explain myself clearly.

I've added in some Kind Words that clients have shared with me so that you can hear from their experiences first hand in what it's been like to work with me. A personal recommendation goes a long way in the service industry like interior design, so telling a friend or recommending to a colleague is the main way I secure clients, so it means the world to me when my clients leave me a testimonial.

There is then a note on Trade Discounts and some information on which suppliers I can secure trade discounts from (many more than are listed here, they are just some of the most popular ones.)
